To understand that day is all of none point,
The luck of meeting you was unlucky.
My life at that point was murky,
And you made it even less clear.
I coudn’t look back, I saw those lonely eyes,
It felt they were once fluttering like butterflies.
I tried to understand, tried to open them,
Now both of our eyes are narrow.
You can’t see the world for what it is,
Nor for what it could be.
It’s a shallow grave for all of us,
but the night sky is still so pretty.
Then why, I ask from this side.
You just smile, beckoning me to the other side.
Would Thanatos be kind enough,
To sing us a lullaby?
I falter, shake and I break.
The reflection of you in my eyes only grow stranger,
Ethereal you already are I could barely feel you.
So I just hold you tighter.
So be it then.
I held your cold hands in mine,
as we fall into the night.
